1. The time
Due to not having enough space in our classroom. We have to set up our free play activities daily. At the beginning and at the end of the day. All activities need to be set up and packed away.
2. Cleaning and Tidying up
Tidying up at the end of the day is time consuming. The students take the resources from one area to another area and at the end of the day, resources are all mixed up.
Part of our daily clean up includes a deep clean of the resources especially since some children put the resources in their mouths.
3: Resourcing:
It is important to keep the resources fresh, new and inviting to motivate the students to engage and promote play. If the resources are there for too long the students will no longer have interest to engage.
